    The CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) is conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for determining eligibility for Lectureship (LS) in Indian universities and colleges. The syllabus for CSIR NET generally includes the following subjects: Physical Sciences: Mathematical Methods of Physics Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetic Theory, Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics Electronics and Experimental Methods.
