It's indeed great to know that someone is desirous of acquiring additional qualifications even before acquiring a degree.
Well, why not? It's always good to have your CV show acquisition of some knowledge every year. Of course sociology is a subject that requires some serious studies but then an ignited mind can do wonders. Also, one must not forget the proverb, 'Where there is will, there is a way'.
