The only option with you for joining Indian Air Force after your class 12th is through NDA examination for that you need to have physics Chemistry Maths in your intermediate examination and should have passed it with minimum 60% marks if you get selected in the written examination, then you can get your call letter for SSB interviews, if you get recommended over there as well, then you go for your medical and if you found fit for the flying duties, then you get your joining for the NDA. -
To join Air Force, you must have [passed 12th with science stream. To join Indian Air Force as Flying Officer after 10+2 Science stream, a candidate has to be between 16-19 years of age at the time when the course starts at NDA.
Gender-
This is a male only entry mode. Only male candidates are eligible to apply for 10+2 entry scheme and become Flying Officers.
Physical Standards (Basic)-
To join IAF, candidates, irrespective of the entry mode and educational qualifications must satisfy a basic set of Physical standards. The list is quite long. But the main things that are checked are-
