What should be my preparation strategy to crack IPUCET in one year?

Below are some important points to focus on: Study Plan Before starting your exam preparation, create a study plan for your preparation. Divide your time equally for all the sections as per your course. Gather all the information about the official syllabus. Research about the study materials you are going to use for better exam preparations. Try to attempt Mathematics questions using shortcut methods. Time Management For exam preparations, you need to focus on studies and manage your time. Make a proper time-table and prepare accordingly. Study for at least five to six hours a day. Add some time for breaks and other activities which can help you to refresh. Study Materials & Previous Year Question Papers Practice only from those books which almost cover the entire syllabus of the exam. Students can also prefer NCERT books for preparations. Also solve the previous year question papers and compare your answers with the given solved papers. It will help you to understand your mistakes and difficult areas and after that you can work on it. Mock Tests You should practice mock tests daily and while solving the questions always keep in mind that you have only some limited time to solve the mock test. This will help you to score good marks in the examination. By practicing the mock test, you can understand the exam pattern and accordingly manage your time to solve the question. Hello, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is a well reputed university of Delhi. It conducts its own Common Entrance Exam (IPU CET) for admissions to different courses. Even though name remains same, there are different versions of this CET differentiated by code of CET. Depending as to where you are intending to take admission, you need to select correct code and prepare accordingly.The CET is in all likely to be conducted in 3rd or 4th week of April 2018 for which registration will open at least couple of months in advance. So there is enough time for preparation. Let us now study different methods.It’s a fact that nobody can study continuously for hours on end. Hence a serious student must set up timetable for all activities that need t be done in a day. Studying, recreation, exercise, sleep, eat and relaxation amongst others. A student must study all subjects every day. Some part for revision and some part for new learning. Concepts must be clear in mind. Assign some time for exercise and Pranayam. It goes a long way in helping in concentration. Develop some hobby like singing, playing an instrument, listening to music, painting etc. Indulge in this after intense phase of studies. After few months, start taking mock tests. These help in knowing our level of reparation as well as ability to solve paper in stipulated time. Get the answer sheet checked by experts. Analyse mistakes and take corrective action. After having come this far, I would suggest to join some coaching class for knowing tricks of how to solve questions in least time. This helps a great way in any competitive exam since ultimately how many questions you can answer surely matters.In conclusion, I must say that if you follow these tips you are sure to clear IPU CET with flying colours.

IPU Exam is not as difficult as the JEE Mains exam. Most of the questions you'll get will be direct formula-based questions. So here, what makes the difference is your speed and accuracy. Step 1: In the first few months, you should give all the time to study and understand the concepts. Try solving the questions and getting the right answer. Do not time yourself in the first few months! Only focus on the correct concept! Step 2: In the next few months, start timing yourself. If you are getting many questions wrong, go to step 2 and start again on that particular topic. Step 3: In the last 2-3 months of your preparation, take 1 mock every week in an environment similar to test center (non AC, timed with OMR sheet). Download any OMR sheet from the internet for practice. The rest of the week check and analyse your mock. Do not study any new concept at this time as this will create confusion and you won't have much time to practice it. All the best!
