What should be my preparation strategy to crack UPSEE in one year?

Read your textbook carefully so that you don't miss any information. Text Book NCERT is the main arms for a fight with UPSEE question. As all question comes from your textbook, the syllabus is so large that it becomes difficult for one to cover all prescribed topics. Thus try to emphasize more on accuracy rather than quantity. At first read one chapter very well. Then solve all questions which comes from the chapter. Be attentive in your school's class because 80% UPSEE syllabus is same as that of board exam's syllabus.

UPSEE is exam conducted for giving admission in the govt. and private college of Uttar Pradesh so just a little bit effort with JEE preparation is enough to crack the exam. At last, prepare through previous year's question papers honestly after completing your chapter so that you are updated with the level and type of question that come for the exams. All the best!

If you have prepared for exams like JEE already then it would be easy for you to crack UPSEE. For cracking any exam you need clarity of concepts, solving lots of questions and time management. For UPSEE, if you have already studied properly for JEE then you don't have to study anything extra. Just revise properly. If you have a book of previous papers, go through it once. Many of the questions are repeated. Hence, it will save a lot of your time. If possible, see previous AIEEE questions too. Since it is the last day, don't just sit and solve. Just have a glance at them. Try and attempt all the questions. No negative marks. Kindly trust your instincts too. I guess the paper begins at 7 o' clock. So sleep accordingly. (I was hallucinating in my physics paper due to less sleep). So have an ample rest. Revise all the formulas. Many questions are just applications of them. Try and attempt all the 150. Begin with physics or maths. Give chemistry last hour as all of the chemistry part is generally factual in the paper. That you can attempt correctly even under time pressure. Best of luck!

One year is a lot of time. Enough that not only you can crack the exam but also ensure a rank among the first 1000 in the exam. Normally, I recommend people to take up a crash course in some reputed coaching centre like RESONANCE, AAKASH, FFITJEE, but considering you have to yourself, you can actually consider taking up a full-time programme at the coaching. Also, you can consider studying the following books for its preparation: Physics: Class XI and XII UP Board Physics textbook HC VERMA Volume 1 and 2 Solved Papers by Arihant Publication Fundamental Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker MCQ Physics by D.Mukerjee for conceptual questions in Physics These are some books I would recommend to go through along with your classes. Chemistry: Class XI and XII UP Board Chemistry textbook Numerical Chemistry by R.C. Mukherjee P. Bahadur for Physical Chemistry Organic and Inorganic Chemistry by OP Tondon Pradeep Objective Chemistry Solved Papers by Arihant Publication Mathematics: Class XI and XII UP Board Mathematics textbook Class XI and XII Mathematics textbook by R.D. Do you know enough about the exam syllabus and study material? If not, start gathering information about the essentials of the UPSEE 2017 examination. Understand the Exam Pattern Getting familiar with the exam pattern is an essential part of your preparation. You must familiarize yourself with the UPSEE test paper as this will mentally prepare you and prevent last-minute panicking in the exam hall. You can read about the subject-wise UPSEE 2017 Exam. It will give you a detailed idea about the subjects, corresponding papers and the marks allocated to each of the papers. Build a Solid Foundation A rock solid foundation is critical for not just UPSEE but any entrance exam. You must brush up on the fundamentals of your Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to do well in UPSEE 2017 entrance exam as the questions are not from outside the syllabus taught in your XI and XII (or in the equivalent course). Focus on Algebra, Calculus, and other vital portions while preparing for Mathematics. Organic and Physical part of Chemistry must be mastered, and for Physics, the whole NCERT problems and theories need to be studied.
