What should i need to do to pursue MS from abroad? What kind of preparation should i start from now?

I m currently pursuing my B.tech (IT),2nd year .

    Hi,
    US and UK are the are the best study destination to pursue MS. In order to pursue MS in UK and US, you need to have:
    Good academic background,preferably 60% plus in graduation.
    Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
    IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus or TOEFL score of 80-90 plus.
    Please note universities in US require 16 years of education for admission in Masers program, whereas universities in UK require 15 years of education.
    Universities in US also require GRE score apart from TOEFL or IELTS score.
    Universities in UK and US have 2 admission intake in a year, namely:
    Fall(August) intake.
    Spring (January) intake.

    For MS, one needs to appear for GRE and TOEFL.
    For GRE-
    What's the ideal timing?
    You need atleast 3 months of preparation
    What books and other materials should you use?
    Preparation books do the job, but the official exams from ETS are only published after they're given.
    How should you organize yourself?
    You'll have to be strict with yourself. Here's a recommended plan of action:
    Start by completing a mock GRE to get yourself into exam mode (get up early, no long breaks between sections, silence, etc.).

    hi nidhi,welcome to https://shiksha.com and yeah this is the right time for preparing for exams i think u know u have to write the exams like gre and TOEFL for getting admission in good universities so take coaching for that exams and if possible write the exams too if u got good marks that scores ar valid for 5 years if u got less marks dont worry u have another chance and write in ur final year time and u have to get ur passport first for writing this exams also and after u have to do a lot process and i can give u a better information on this reply me to my mail prudhvirajkapoor.raj gmail.com.all the best

    You must clear IELTS/TOEFL/GRE with scores as required by the university of your study. You must balance their fee requirements with your affordability status.

    To study MS abroad it doesn't require much preparations. As you are in second year of B.Tech so just prepare for English language examination.
