There is a wide difference between the fields you are talking about and you can study further in any branch you take up, I would suggest that choose a field of your interest. And yes if you wish to study abroad then definitely DJSCOE has an upper hand as it provides more exposure.

The fields that you are comparing are totally different my friend. Production is a sub-branch of Mechanical Engineering, whereas, Electronics itself is a core branch. So, I would suggest you first decide the course which you wish to pursue and then go for the decision of choosing your college.
