Preparing for the GMAT and IELTS exams requires time and effort, and the ideal preparation timeline can vary depending on your current proficiency level and target scores. However, here are some general guidelines:

    • Know the different study abroad intakes.
    • Know the admission deadlines.
    • Keep time for retaking the exams and for the preparation of apply documents such as an SOP, LORs, etc.

    GMAT:

    • It is recommended to prepare for the GMAT 2023 exam for at least 3-6 months.

    Hi Aarthi,
GMAT preparation usually takes around 3 to 6 months depending on the test taker's ability. IELTS normally takes around 2 to 3 months. Ideally, you should start the application process a year ahead of the intake.

Not always. If you have completed your Bachelor's degree where the instruction language was English (like in India engineering colleges), you might get an IELTS exemption. You just need to show a certificate from your old college saying you studied in English. But checking specific requirements on universityadmissions.se is important.

Yes, students can study at the AUD Dubai without IELTS. However, students would need to prove English proficiency in a different way. This can be done by either submitting scores for other tests like TOEFL, EmSAT, or English Placement Tests. Waivers may be given based on how well students have done in their past studies, especially the English exam.

No, do not use them. Examiners are stricter now and will cut marks if you use generic or memorized essay templates for your answers. You should write natural ideas to get a high score.

Pencils are not allowed anymore. For the IELTS paper-based test you must write all your answers using a pen to ensure they are clear. Please practice your handwriting before test day.
