Students can enroll at Pragati College during June periods following the release of HSC results. To apply students must complete an application form and additionally present essential papers while making payment of required sums. The admission process at the college requires candidates to complete counseling sessions or attend necessary interviews depending on their chosen course. The college website and administration team provide the specific date information and admissions details.

The admission process for UG and PG courses begins every year as per the admission guidelines . As per the directive of the University, date of sale of application forms is notified in the notice board. Application forms can be bought from the coordinator and on the spot enquiries are attended by the In-charge of Admission Committee.Completely filled forms submitted by the aspring students pass through coordinators to HODs of respective departments. The HODs personally counsels the aspiring students and after their counseling only the students are given admission.

The Andhra Pradesh EAPCET cutoff ranks for Pragati Engineering College in 2024 varied by course and category. For example, the closing rank for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering was 12,839, while for Civil Engineering, it was 80,650. These figures indicate that more competitive courses like CSE had lower closing ranks, while others like Civil Engineering had higher closing ranks. It's important to note that cutoff ranks can fluctuate annually based on factors such as the number of applicants, seat availability, and exam difficulty.
