I personally feel, there is no need of coaching institutes or people selling notes for NET preparation. It is more of a money minting business and satisfying yourself psychologically. Many of my friends took coaching, but in vain they all had same opinion, cleared NET in my first attempt followed by two JRF without any coaching or buying notes.
The first thing you should do, is have a look at last years as many you can solve it roughly you will be familiarized with the pattern and this will give you the direction There is prescribed syllabus on the website I would suggest you to go through it and prepare topic wise prepare your own note
