    The Main examinations for B.Tech are
    JEE Mains
    LPUNEST
    BITSAT
    VITEE etc. Some states also conduct their own entrance examination, but that limits your chouce to a particular state only. DVD.

    Hi Nomanjee, One is JEE Mains. Your target should be to crack JEE Mains and to reach up to IIT's. If not then you should have plan B on your mind to appear in an other entrance exams to pursue BE or B.Tech. In northern India, LPU is one of best University who Conduct LPU NEST an entrance and Scholarship Exam. Online Admissions are already open, one can take Admission now in B.Tech through their website and can apply for LPU NEST which is subject to be qualified. All the best for your future.

    The list of engineering entrance exam was really bulky but as per the government's the latest mandate, from 2019 onwards there will be single engineering test called CET. Check the recent Exam list:

    The eligibility requirement for this programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
