    Candidates are sought after for clerical cadre positions in public sector banks in India through the common recruitment procedure (CRP), which is administered by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The CRP scores are used by public sector banks to choose applicants for their different branches. Eleven public sector banks participate in the hiring procedure overall. Preliminary and major exams make up the IBPS Clerk selection process. The list of participating banks for IBPS Clerk is provided below.
