5 years agoAll topics are equally important, everything from visual spatial ability, general knowledge, Science, arts, mathematics and mensuration, mental ability. It is important to go through the previous year's question papers to know the pattern because there is negative marking so one gets familiarised with the type of tricking questions. It is necessary to score well in both Part A and Part B of CEED exam, so it is important to prepare both for theory and sketching to score well. All topics are equally important, everything from visual spatial ability, general knowledge, science, arts, mathematics and mensuration, mental ability.
It is important to go through the previous year's question papers to know the pattern because there is negative marking so one gets familiarised with the type of tricking questions.

Hello,
Design schools are started and run by state government. There are states and there are such schools. In some cases, the schools of designs run by states are simply superb while in some cases these are not worth mentioning. Hence, all cannot be painted by same brush.
What used to happen in olden times was the beurocratic approach that resulted in late decisions, which in turn hampered the untrammeled growth of these schools. Decision making used to be lethargic and hence, placements were also problematic.

IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Counseling for CEED 2026. Instead, the participating colleges will conduct the counseling at an institute level. The candidate will have to go to the admission portal of the institute and fill in the counseling registration form. The counseling admission portal will have all the relevant details pertaining to the admission process, seat matrix, eligibility, etc.
The participating institutes of CEED 2026 are colleges that will offer admission to the M.Des and PhD courses solely on the basis of CEED 2026 scores. These institutes not consider scores of other entrance exams, like NIFT and NID DAT, for admission purposes. The list of CEED 2026 participating institutes will be published on the admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in.
The online application form for admission to CEED participating institutes will open tentatively in the last week of September 2024. Note that unlike UCEED 2026, IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment process for CEED 2026.
