I think, both the boards have their importance in different aspects. CBSE is a little bit easy but also the most of the entrance exam papers are set by CBSE. I think you should carry with the board you have appeared in 10th for. As, both are good and not much different is seen.

    Hello Jaimeen,
Fundamental principle: If you study well then that subject appears easy and if one does not study well it's difficult. So is with these two boards. Both are similar.

I have not seen much difference in syllabus. But of course, there is some in Higher Secondary. My experience said me CBSE was bit easygo to me but there is nothing like easy or difficult as general. Still, if you were my sibling I would have suggested CBSE.

Hello, first of all, get good marks, one must be well acquainted with all the subjects. Immense practice is what one requires to crack JEE. As far as the course of 10+2 in both CBSE and ICSE is almost similar to each other. There are certain advantages as the paper of JEE Mains prepared by the examiners by keeping the curriculum of CBSE textbooks in mind. But ICSE students have pretty good chances of clearing the exams as well. To secure a decent rank, irrespective of CBSE or ICSE you must solve various question papers every now and then and try finding questions that require a multi step approach to solve. In case of any difficulty, a

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For JEE-qualified students, the JEE score primarily determines merit-based scholarships and priority counseling, while Class 12 marks ensure eligibility verification. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a
