Which branch of engineering is best in terms of getting good job opportunities?

HI Gaya, That totally depends on the answers to following questions to yourself: 1. What do you want to do in career? 2. What does he degree you are planning to get enable you to do in career? Answer both of these honestly to yourself, you'll get the answer. All of the branches have a great scope, provided you have interest, aptitude, frame of mind, temperament, passion, personality traits that align with your aspirations in any of these. That is the reason why all the branches are being taught in such a large number of colleges in the first place. You must give it a deep though yourself for making a decision. Every field has ample number of jobs and opportunities for making a successful career out of it! Do not go by peer pressure for the decision, its your interest and passion which matters not the others. Second point : You must pursue your choice of course only in top universities like IITs, NITs, VIT, PEC, Thapar and LPU etc. This will help you kick start your career with a good platform as they will ensure your initial placement. As far as I know and observed all the branches are equally good. Placements at LPU is a major known factor and the preparations for it start soon after joining classes at LPU itself and the students are guided until and unless they secure a job for themselves. To get placed in some company I would say it depends on your potential also. LPU provides ample opportunity for all students. As per my observance engineering at LPU is well known for its placements packages, then management and then any other course placements are rated. Certainly, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, the number of admissions in the CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. The average package of the university is around 5 Lacs per annum and the highest package offered to a student of LPU in 2019-20 was Rs. 42 Lacs per annum. It was bagged by a student of B.Tech. CSE student only. Take your decision wisely and one more thing note down that thinking of placements first and then choosing any course is not a better way to think, instead, think of course/programme you are interested in first as per your keen interest. Your knowledge, academics performance, hard work and exposure will pay you back when you appear for on-campus placements with the worthy outcome that what I believe. Hope the above information helps. Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. SEE there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed. Every organisation or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely professional university and currently he is working with Amazon with the highest package. He has learnt a lot from LPU. Reviews are pretty good. LPU is helping him grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. He told me, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants.
