    Hi,
Mechanical engineering at Thapar University is better than electrical. The placements, faculty are world-class. Infrastructure and labs are also well-equipped. So, go for mechanical at Thapar University.

    Hello Kapil,
If you have interest in ME then you should go for it but if you are not interested in mechanical engineering then I think you should opt for EE.

Both are good branches and, of course, both are core branches too.
So, according to me, suggesting something is unfair as both the branches have equal value.
So, choose a branch in which you find some interest as mechanical is all about mechanics and electrical is all about electricity.
    Good luck.

Then they can either leave the course or continue the same for one or two more years, they will be entitled for higher recognition.

Quantum University is good for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, especially if you want practical learning along with theory. From a student point of view, I feel the mechanical department is strong and the teachers are supportive.

The university has all the important mechanical labs like workshop lab, fluid mechanics lab, thermal lab, strength of material lab, and machine lab. In these labs we get to work on real machines, tools, engines, and different mechanical equipment. Teachers guide us step by step, so even difficult topics become easy to understand.

The course covers all the main subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing process,
