Which college can I get for B.Arch in Gujarat after qualifying JEE Mains paper 2? What is the difference between NATA and JEE Mains paper 2?

Hi, I'll give you the difference between NATA and JEE: Both the exams share the similarity that is they both are conducted for the admissions to the 5 Year Bachelor of Architecture Course in the various colleges of India but the fact that makes them apart (dissimilarity, can also be termed as difference) is JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for the admission to the NITs and centrally funded colleges Across the nation and the NATA Exam is conducted for the admissions to the B.Arch colleges in India except NITs and centrally funded colleges. NATA is compulsory Exam conducted by the Council of Architecture and most of the institutes /colleges accept only NATA scores. So, if you plan to stay in Gujarat for your Bachelors then give NATA as there aren't any NITs, IITs or SPA for architecture in Gujarat. You should rather look at these colleges: CEPT University, Ahmedabad Nirma University, Ahmedabad Indus University, Ahmedabad Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture, Rajkot Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology School of Architecture, Vadodara Design Academy Navrachana University, School of Environmental Design and Architecture Faculty of Technology and Engineering, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda All these colleges accept NATA.

JEE Mains Paper 2 is only conducted through pen and paper based mode. Candidates who are applying for JEE Mains Paper 1 can also apply for JEE Mains Paper 2 and vice versa but the application fee is different for appearing in both or single exam. NATA 2017 is a National Aptitude Test in Architecture and is a National Level Architecture exam conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) to select the students for 5 years B.Arch Course in various colleges across India. NATA is more like an eligibility test for admission into the architecture course.
