BITS is any day better than VIT for any specialization. The pedagogy, infrastructure, and placements are far better than VIT. Plus, the campus life you get at BITS Pilani is amazing and unmatched. So, I would suggest you to go to BITS!

BITS, Pilani and other two campuses at Hyderabad and Goa are the best to pursue EEE and civil as compared to VIT, Vellore. VIT, Vellore is also a top engineering institute but compared to BITS, it's second. BITS is a better option according to the experience I had in this campus. It is a completely different life in this campus and helps you to build your overall personality with the career as well. Placement scenario as well is too good for the students studying here. So if you have a chance, go for BITS.
    Best wishes.
