Which college is better for placement among LPU and SASTRA?

As per good placement cell is concerned so I would suggest LPU is really better than Sastra University. There are various big tech giants like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Facebook, Amazon, Capegimini, etc. Comes in LPU for the campus drive. So if you look at the last five years placement records so that is also amazing to watch. In addition to that the college also provide personality development classes facility, so don't worry for that you will SEE a change in your personality for sure.

Hello, In my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. I being an LPU alumni from same course, and I was lucky enough to hold multiple placement offers after my engineering. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc. Placements equally depends upon student as on university or college, but at LPU students are trained so well, that cracking any interview is a cake walk. Few of the major highlights of placements are : 1. Over 300 companies visit for recruitment from CSE. 2. Over 60 of them offered above INR 10 lacs and a large number of students got placed. 3. Over 50 are from fortune 500 club. 4. Over 50 are those which recruit from LPU only outside of IITs 5. Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. They can secure their future by getting these opportunities. Placements at LPU are best-ever achievements. Most definitely! Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the university intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA! Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields.

Both colleges are good and both differ in their own ways. If you want a college with good discipline and better ettiquite join sastra. If you need a good fests and more enjoyable choose lpu.

We have developed a novel approach to student engagement in which students can choose to intern for six months to a year with the possibility of receiving a pre-placement offer. Based on their internship success, the student is hired as a full-time employee after completing both their internship and academic programme concurrently.</p>

I have searched thoroughly about both the colleges and find out that Lovely Professional University is one of the best universities to pursue B.Tech. Being a student, what we want that university should provide- quality education, exposure, placements, extra-curricular activities. Well, this is a place where you will find all these features. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you will study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and company officials vet the syllabus. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they provide cybersecurity, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway electives: whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. The classes you have to attend regularly.
