I'll prefer you to opt for the SRM, as this college has better labs and faculty, as that of the VIT. So, you can choose this college for the mechanical engineering.

Hello RS,
As per you rank in VITEEE you may get mechanical engineering in category 3,4,5 which is a bit costly. So if you can afford it then go for VIT, Vellore only other than SRM university.
