Which course has better career option and scope from LPU: BCA or Diploma+B.Tech in CS?

The scope depends on your caliber, interest, and passion. Both the courses are equally good. However, I can guide you better for B.Tech CSE. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. The highest package was grabbed by a B.Tech CSE student of LPU, and the offer was made by Google. MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in WorkIndia at 35 LPA; CLOUDERA at 31 LPA; AMAZON at a package of 30 LPA. An average package ranges from 5-10 LPA.

Hello, BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). All it depends upon your interest. While BCA gives students a good technology knowledge, it is advisable to complete your MCA to give yourself career wise push. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities than a student with a BCA. I would advise you to go for B.Tech for complete learning and better industry options. B.Tech will be for 4 years and leads to immediate employability while BCA is three year course but requires MCA at the end of the day to make a real mark. Eligibility: If you have more than 60% in 10+2 then you are eligible for B.Tech, while god forbid if you are not able to secure 60%, and get above 50%, then BCA will be right choice. Now another major point to be noted is choosing a right university or college that provides you with complete learning. You need to look for Faculty, Labs, Infrastructure, Placements, Internships, Curriculum and practical learning approach in a university before choosing it for your graduation. Talking about LPU, both these courses are quite popular in LPU and it completely depends upon your interest. Choosing LPU for B.Tech CSE was one of my best decision. LPU is always applauded for its placements. Quite frankly, LPU has one of the best placements in today time. Not only top companies liked Adobe, Oracle make their way in the university but many software giants too for mass placements. I completed my graduation from LPU and I had very good experience from there. LPU give us the potential to learn new things and work on it. No doubt placements are good in the university. My all batch mates got placed in top national and multinational companies. I myself got an offer letter from Cognizant with a maximum package they provide to freshers. Also, I was lucky enough to get multiple placement offer from HCL and Videocon as well. At my time all top national and multinational companies like Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, GATE ITC Infotech, Amdocs, Atos, Emphasis, Unisys, AON Hewitt, MAQ, CSS Corp, HCL and many more, have made their way to LPU and recruited many students for PAN India operations. It depends upon your interest. But definitely B.Tech CSE is the most sought after and much more advanced specialisation programme than BCA. Though both the programs are very well delivered I LPU. CSE B.Tech commands much more market value in terms of recruiters and specializations. LPU realizes that paradigm changes are happening around the world. Rapidly changing business landscape requires young leaders to not only understand developing economies but also develop a global perspective at the same time in order to be an integral part of the growth of the economy I would suggest Diploma+ B.Tech in CSE as you will save one year and join B.Tech in the second year only. You can browse the website of LPU which gives you the details of the curriculum also of all the courses. Check the details and decide.
