BTech Mechanical Engineering is four year professional degree course which will enable you take up operations maintenance design & R&D role in any industry. BSc is 3 years degree course will restrict your career options and also you will have to do MSc for any meaningful career. Therefore, BTech Mechanical engineering has better career opportunities in comparison to BSc.

Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma.
