a year agoHi Pankaj,
If you want to work in a technology /software company then pick CSE but if you are some one interested in machines and have an engineering mind go for mechanical .
Both the branches offer good career opportunities. -
Mechanical engineering is called an evergreen branch as Mechanical Engineers do find placement opportunities in almost every sector in industry. But, computer industry although hit by recession on occasions in the past also offer promising prospects for job aspirants. Lets hope for the best.

Pankaj,
Both are amazing fields.
For someone who loves computers and programming, computer Science will be better. If you like applying logic and solving puzzles, you would enjoy computer Science.
However, if you love machines, and enjoy making something physical using your creativity, you would enjoy Mechanical engineering. Mechanical Engineering is a hardcore engineering field.
There are ample opportunities in both. You must sit and think what would you love to do in future - Make softwares or work with machines.

The university has all the important mechanical labs like workshop lab, fluid mechanics lab, thermal lab, strength of material lab, and machine lab. In these labs we get to work on real machines, tools, engines, and different mechanical equipment. Teachers guide us step by step, so even difficult topics become easy to understand.
The course covers all the main subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing process,
