The GIBS Business School has developed a large, varied group of corporations that benefit both student internships and final job placements. In terms of final job placements, over 260 companies were represented during the most recent placement periods, demonstrating an extensive range of industries represented by each company. • Morning: I start the day by reaching campus and attending my first classes of the day. The classrooms are spacious, and the environment is really good for learning. Sometimes, we have group discussions or case studies which make the morning interactive.

• Afternoon: After classes, we usually have a lunch break in the campus cafeteria. The afternoon is again for lectures or practical sessions depending on the subject. We also get time for library study or project work.

• Evening: The evening is for extra activities like sports, cultural clubs, or workshops. On the 10-acre campus, there is enough space for students to relax, walk around, or meet friends. Sometimes, we have guest sessions or seminars as well.

It is a commonly held view among students that faculty members at GIBS are highly engaged in and supportive of students during orientations and mentorship on campus. Faculty members at GIBS are welcoming to new students, and they provide guidance about the academic expectations for coursework as well as about the curricular flow and the culture of the GIBS campus during these orientation programs. From my experience as a student at GIBS Bangalore, events like the IRE Conference, startup competitions, and networking evenings are really exciting and useful. I remember attending a networking evening where I got to talk directly to company managers and even learned about roles I didn't know existed.

Startup competitions at GIBS give us a chance to pitch our ideas, work with classmates, and get feedback from real entrepreneurs, which really boosts confidence. The IRE Conference is another platform where we hear success stories and challenges from industry leaders, which makes learning practical and inspiring.

Honestly, these events make us feel like we are already part of the industry, not just students. They give us contacts, exposure, and confidence that help a lot during placements and future careers.
