CSE is good. If you have interest in CSE, then it is the best option for you because there are infinite opportunities if you have the right skills but if you don't have interest in CSE, then go for civil or mechanical both are almost the same.

It totally depends on you that which branch you like and how you take it. In terms of placements, it is a bit easy to get a placement in IT branches as compared to the core branches.
