VBSPU, Jaunpur accepts PUCAT, or the Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test, as the entrance to the BSc programme. Candidates are selected for the BSc programme based on their performance in the entrance exam. Other than PUCAT, VBSPU accepts other entrance examinations regarding the various courses it offers. However, in the case of a BSc programme, only PUCAT is required as the entrance examination.
