The B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at VJTI Mumbai offers higher salary packages and provides better placements than the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch.

-The strong demand for IT services and software development positions is advantageous to CSE. Numerous positions are available for CSE graduates from leading recruiters such as TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.
-Engineers from the CSE branch are also hired for computer engineering positions in fields like data science, app development, and cloud computing.
-There aren't many openings at key electronics companies like Qualcomm, MediaTek, etc.
