Which institute is better for pursuing B.Tech: LPU or VIT?

In this world of ever changing technology, the trainers or the programme curators must also adapt equally fast, but this happens rarely in India. There are very few institutions like LPU which do that in adequate manner. If you want to compare the colleges then do so by: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since it is a highly dynamic field, you can’t afford a programme which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well-rounded professional. Industry interface: Ultimately it’s the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. are given high importance in the organisations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these.Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills.Placements : The programme is only means to the end and desired end of such course is placement. You must check if the college/university has sold track record of placements or not. My experience of 16 years tells me that LPU has done path breaking progress on all these parameters, its placements in more than 700 companies is proof enough. The rankings by NIRF and ATAL (MHRD) both have prove this fact that LPU's performance has been unmatched. You Decide!

I can tell about the LPU. The placement of LPU is very good. 600+ companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of the students got placed. Last year a girl placed in microsoft with a package of 42 Lacs per annum. The placement staff of LPU works very hard for bringing the company in the camp. LPU also have tie ups with foreign university that will help student to place in foreign universities. LPU campus is so lovely. The whole campus is under cctv. So no issue of security problems. Hostels are well maintained. Food is good for health. LPU also provide a sports ground with very experienced coach. The university is having a university-hospital which is free of cost for the students. Ambulance service is free for 24 hrs. Wi-Fi facility in all the hostels. Smart classroom. Whole university is online so you can do anything from your mobile. There is no compensation in studies, whenever a teacher on leave then the makeup classes will be arranged for the teacher. There are restriction on teachers also, they also have to take permission for late night entry.

<p>From my experience and what I've seen around me, LPU can be a decent option for B.Tech in CSE among private universities. The curriculum is regularly updated, labs are well equipped, and there's steady industry interaction along with placement support. Personally, I've noticed that students who seriously focus on coding, projects, and internships tend to get much better outcomes than those who rely only on classes.</p>
