Which is a better college to pursue B.Tech in CSE, LPU or CGC, Landran?

Hi, CSE is not ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. Placements: After all, it boils down to placements; the university must attract many companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. Hi, Once I was travelling by train from New Delhi to Jalandhar and on my adjacent seats, two students were sitting who were studying in engineering in LPU. Being an educator, I was curious to know about the University, so the same I did. The points they highlighted I will mention below 1) The faculty and the infrastructure and other facilities are excellent. 2) The placements are 100% and the preparation for the same starts from the very first year. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 6-10 LPA. 3)They give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job or you want to be an entrepreneur. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. 5) There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas. Moreover, in 2019, when the Indian Science Congress held in LPU, LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019 in this studio. 6) Last but not the least, the students told me that LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. As per my experience LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. So, you should go for LPU and you will not regret this decision ever.
