If you are getting B.Tech CSE in Jadavpur University then grab it, because JU is ranked 4th University by NIRF MHRD. Otherwise, go with IIT Guwahati for B.Tech EP. -
I would advice you to go for CSE/ETCE at JU. JU is an equally well known institution as IIT Guwahati, CSE/ETCE are also very well known departments in JU which offer opportunities not only in terms of placements but also in terms of further studies and research. Departments such as CSE, etc. E, Mechanical, EE, Chemical in JU are matched only by the four old IIT's in terms of reputation and should not be left in favor of relatively newer departments in new IIT's.
