Which is best for CSE: MIT or LPU?

Hi, The choice of the institute depends on various factors such as placements, academics, curriculum, extra-curricular activities, exposure to the students, etc. Keeping in mind all these factors, only one institute that comes to my mind is LPU. My brother did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and he is working in an MNC now. I have visited LPU several times during his 4-year journey. I will highlight some of the features. The staff is highly qualified and most of them are Ph. This. The faculty has in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and are supportive too. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Curriculum: LPU curriculum is designed in exhaustive consultations with industry and is upgraded every semester depending on the feedback received from the employers of current students. Technologies: Large number of technologies are a part of curricula like SAP, Advance Excel, GitHub, Machine learning and many more MOOCs which are all at no additional charges. Infrastructure: Writing bout infrastructure of LPU is not even required, whole world is in awe including the IITs, IIMs and NITs. Diversity: LPU attracts a diverse set of students and faculty from all across India as well as more than 70 countries. This gives a unique exposure to cross cultural ecosystem. Centre for Professional Enhancement: This center in itself is most unique feature of LPU, takes care of soft skills, professional ethics, sensibilities, mentorship etc. For the students right form the first semester. Placements: There are no words which can describe the fabulous placements of LPU, just for CSE there are about 270 companies which visit campus regularly for recruitment. The highest placement last year was at Microsoft for INR 42 lacs. Since there is a lockdown in wake of Covid-19, LPU has announced a special schedule for counselling from 22 April, you can avail his special counselling if you have appeared for JEE Mains or LPU NEST in January 2020. So make your choice and give it a shot, who knows maybe you get admission into your dream programme.

Dear Bhavya, There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in ECE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and a bench marks for placement and internships of students not only in CSE but also in other courses. One more point I want to highlight here is that the scholarships offered by LPU helps a student without any monetary burden. LPU is a better option for CSE as the placements are really very good every year. LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes. Hi, Both of the universities are good at their own place. Here you need to do the comparison. A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events, etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. Few points told by my know who did his studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: He told the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. Latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. At the end of second year students get an option to choose one of seven different minors to pursue (IOT,Big Data,Web Development,Machine Learning,Android App Development,Data Science,Cyber Security). A student can opt for any, according to field of interest. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality. Students start getting internship and job offers from the 6th semester onwards. I would personally suggest LPU, because of it is good placement record and obviously infrastructure. You'll also get a decent scholarship in LPU. Last year batch got the highest package of INR. 26 LPA by Amazon.
