Which is better between B. Tech in computer science engineering and B. Tech in electronics and communication engineering at PES University?

PES University KCET Cutoff 2025 was announced till Round 3 for admission to BTech, BPharm, and BArch courses. The KCET BTech Cutoff 2025 ranged from  6056 to 15958 for the students belonging to the General AI category. This category faced the toughest competiton for the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering specialisation. On the other hand, B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering was the easiest specialisation. The PES University Karnataka PGCET Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the MBA/PGDM course for all categories under the All India quota up to Round 3. PES University admission for UG and PG courses are entrance based. Candidates are shortlisted for the interview after PESSAT. Shortlisting is done on the basis of merit with reference to the PESSAT scores of the candidates. Hereafter, the list of candidates who qualify PESSAT is notified on the official website and the interview round commences for the shortlisted candidates.

• OBC: 2,641-1,28,600 
• SC: 30,341-1,55,074 

At PES University, the minimum eligibility varies with courses. However, the common eligibility for UG programmes is passing Class 12 with atleast 50 % of aggregate marks. For PG programmes at the university, the minimum eligibility is Bachelor's degree with atleast 50% of aggregate marks in the relevant stream. The sleection criteria for both the programmes is entrance based.
