Instead of SMU, Manipal University is better alternative. And in all, VIT University is best with respect to placement, overall development and growth.

VIT University is now one of the top universities in India. It is far ahead of SMU in terms of ranking. : VIT has good placements. Around 7000 placement are there in VIT, in which they are divided into 3 types, super dream, and regular. The average package is 4 lacs per annum where nearly 365 to 400 students are selected. The super dream offer is greater than 15 lakhs per annum, and 700 to 1200 students got placed in dream offer with the package of more than 10 lacs per annum. The placements takes place yearly, and the various companies visits the campus.
