Moreover, the average package offered during IIT Dhanbad placements was INR 17.69 LPA whereas the average package offered during IIT Guwahati placements was INR 41 LPA. When compared according to the B.Tech fees, the IIT Dhanbad B.Tech fees is around INR 4 LPA whereas IIT Guwahati B.Tech fees is INR 8 LPA.

You can get into the BTech courses offered by IIT (ISM) Dhanbad through JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains isn't enough. One must clear JEE Advanced to get into any of the IITs. The same applies to the IIT Dhanbad admissions as well. To summarise:
