Placements in CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY Computer Science and IT branches lead campus placements at CU Computer Science Engineering students of the University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered the highest package of Rs. 52.11 lacs for the Engineering branch. IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, and Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students. The world's top IT giant Microsoft selected Computer Science and IT Engineering students consecutively for the last three years, while number the of selections has increased three times and touched 15. India's leading IT Company Wipro (394), Capgemini (217), and Mindtree (101) while the global IT giant IBM also selected a record number of 196 engineering students which is the highest number of selections made on any campus in North India. Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, and Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. If you are looking for a better placements, it completely depends on your capabilities. The college are only responsible to call the companies, you have to get a job in the company. As far as between Chitkara and Thapar, thapar is preferred as it has high company collaboration than chitkara even during pandemic it has been performed well than other many colleges. But you would have a huge competition as the crowd is more in Thapar.
