LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements which makes it as Best University in North India.  LPU Campus has it! A well-planned cricket stadium, a university mall that sells almost everything, tons of student-run shops, tremendous residential facilities, a 24*7 open hospital, all these still constitute just a fraction. The campus also has a Central Library acting as the bank of knowledge for students with thousands of books covering all the courses.

Preferring LPU or Dr DY Patil B-School will depend on personal goals, likes, and dislikes. Both institutions have their highs and lows. LPU is specifically recognised for its diverse student population, up-to-date infrastructural facilities, and connections with the business sector that offer students a variety of programmes. On the other hand Dr DY Patil B-School has made a name with its MBA programs, seasoned professors, and research focus. In making an informed choice you may need to reflect on things such as locality, courses offered by professors, life on campus and job prospects among others. It is also important to check reviews

As of now, the exact cutoff for the PGDM programme at D.Y. Patil Institute of Management & Research (Pimpri) for 2025 hasn't been officially released. However, based on recent trends and previous year data:

  • The 2024 MAH-MBA/M-CA CET (MAHCET) closing percentile for the general category was around 93–94%, especially in highly in-demand specializations.

Assuming the trend continues, it's reasonable to expect that the 2025 PGDM cutoff will likely fall between the 92nd and 95th percentile. This range accounts for factors such as applicant competition, exam difficulty, and seat availability.
