Which is better- to pursue M.Sc in Biotechnology as whole or in a particular branch of Biotechnology?

I am currently doing B.Sc in biotechnology.I'll be completing my graduation in 2014.I scored 71% in my first year and 78% in 3rd semester.I would like to go for research or industrial work.I am not interested in teaching.

    Its always better to have in complete so that it may not affect you wide scope during your job selection.but if you are into research be specif in your choice. good luck for your future.
