Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a better choice compared to Chandigarh University for students seeking comprehensive education, practical exposure, and career-focused opportunities. While Chandigarh University is recognised for certain programs, LPU offers a wider spectrum of courses across engineering, management, science, arts, law, and emerging fields, allowing students to explore interdisciplinary learning and multiple career paths under one roof. One of LPU's major strengths is its placement support and industry connections. The university has a dedicated placement cell that maintains strong ties with national and int

There are very few Universities in India which are maintaining this Global Standard. At the time of selection of best University for pursuing my Integrated B.Tech. Hi, Both the universities are private universities and doing equally well, but I would recommend LPU over CU because what LPU is doing for the students, no other university can do the same. LPU nurtures the students completely by making them all-rounders. LPU provides each and every opportunity to the students, and it's the student's responsibility to grab that. LPU has the infrastructure of global standards, internationally benchmarked curricula, the rich diversity of students, innovative pedagogy for participative and experiential learning, research, innovation and entrepreneurship, foreign tie-ups, experienced faculty, active academ

  • Dear Poonam, both are private universities. But, there are certain core competencies that LPU has earned through its long experience in the field of education. Education at LPU is a holistic one, and is aimed at developing the intellectual and personal strengths of our students. The inclusive LPU experience takes place both within and outside the classroom through challenging project work and participative learning. It nurtures creativity and innovation by providing an environment conducive to free play of imagination leading to sparking of new ideas. Learning at LPU is therefore a preparation for life. Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.

Yes, that's one of the main reasons. Chandigarh university's consistent performance in the QS Asia University Rankings has made it a popular choice among students. Being ranked as the No.1 private university in India for three years in a row gives students confidence that they're joining a university recognised for its academic quality, global research, and strong placements. These rankings reflect real things students care about like how Well graduates are placed (employer reputation), how strong the teaching and research are (academic reputation), and how connected the university is globally (international research network).

Yes, employer reputation is one of the main reasons Chandigarh University performs so well in the QS Asia University Rankings. This measure reflects how much companies value and trust the university's graduates, and CU has consistently improved in this area. Over the years, more top national and international companies have been visiting CU's campus for placements, which shows that its students are highly employable and industry-ready.

Chandigarh University is unique in that it consistently maintains an upward trend among Asian universities and has been ranked as the top private university in India for three consecutive years. Employer Reputation, which ranks first among private universities in India and 53rd in Asia, is one of the key indicators that the university scored highly on.
