Which is the best college for CS LPU or Galgotia University?

CSE is not an ordinary programme. It is highly resource intensive, dynamic and difficult programme to run for the curators. You never know when some technology gets obsolete! The curators need to be equally dynamic as the industry is. It needs unflinching focus to run the programme according to industry. Very few universities have been able to recognize this dynamism and perfect the curriculum and its delivery for producing the well rounded professionals. LPU has made phenomenal progress in every sphere of the programme in last 15 years. Four major striking factors are: Tech-Trainings : Many technologies like SAP, Advance excel, GitHub etc. Are taught as a part of curriculum, to make the students competent for cracking placements as well as the professional life efficiency. Center for professional enhancement: This department kicks in its job early into the course and keeps working on students for almost full duration of the course. It works on communication skills, ethics, virtues, social and professional etiquette, interview trainings and large number of other soft skills. Hello! I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about CU. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculties, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students. University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculties and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Also, such projects boosted up my CV and helped me in my placements as well as in my professional career. I hope this helps you!

Dear Saezy, I would say, Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. Dear Saezy, Both LPU and Galgotias are the best universities, being alumni of LPU I will share B.Tech in CSE at LPU. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world.
