    Hi,
After B.Tech, you may opt for :
    * M.Tech (in India) /MS (Abroad) to study the technical side.
    OR
    * MBA if you wish to move career towards management line.
    * Further, you may opt for short term specialized courses related to the field.
    * Another option will be, you may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with M.Tech/MS or MBA.
In a nutshell, you should pursue a course based on your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goals.
    Hope it

    Manmeet,
thats a very elaborate answer to the query!
I would further like to add a few points as far as MS in USA is concerned after Btech
    Mahatab,
After a BTech, you can always go for an MS in the following fields
    1) MS in Operation Research
    2) MS in Decision Sciences
    3) MS in Industrial Engg
These courses are a little mathematical in nature but provide good employment opportunities once you graduate.
