Which is the best university to pursue MBA, Amity University, Noida or LPU?

The career decision is crucial, even more so is the decision of your college! With all big names in question it becomes a little tricky. With 16 years of experience behind me, I would compare the universities for MBA on following parameters: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Diversity: As he world shrinks into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a B-School is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Industry interface: Ultimately, its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any MBA programme. Placements: Since the ultimate aim of attaining a skill/knowledge/degree is to have a career, it is desirable that whichever university you chose, it must have good industry linkages to attract the good recruiters which value fresh talent. In all these parameters LPU has done exceptionally well in last decade or so, its unmatched placement record speaks for itself with more than 700 companies coming to campus on regular basis for recruitment. It is miles ahead of any one in the parameters stated above.

Hi Nomanjee, Both LPU and Amity have their own strengths, While LPU has one state of the art campus, Amity has its MBA programme available at many locations, both of them are good I their own sphere, but if we go a little deeper, it is LPU which has created a huge name for itself over last decade or so with a extremely solid track record on all the relevant parameters like: Curriculum : LPU curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. LPU ecosystem provides numerous opportunities for it. Both the universities are equally good. LPU would offer a large alumni network while amity would offer multiple job offers due to its capital proximity.

Dear Nomanjee, In the present era, the field of management is becoming a very important sphere of everyone life. Now if I talk about the colleges for the MBA I think LPU is the best for it. I did MBA from LPU, My experience at LPU has been phenomenal. I got placed in multiple companies but right now working with Redington. The Business School of LPU is accredited from (ACBSP) Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry experienced faculties, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA.LPU has recently Marked among Top 50 Best Management Institutes by NIRF ranking 2020. Also, LPU has won National Employability Award 2020. There are lots of career opportunities after MBA in different areas.The university also gives us the opportunity to get real-life exposure through various training programs and an internship, which is mandatory for all. Professors go for value-based education which is something we as professionals would require in our career. Guest lectures by experts and some really successful people are arranged by our department to widen our scope of learning. Most of faculty members are from IIM or from elite B- Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty was really helping. Even they helped her after regular university hours for her projects. Entrepreneurship projects are integral part of curriculum and help establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs.I got opportunity to work on community development project on social issues to cultivate social sensitivity and sense of responsibility. University has collaboration/Tie up with the companies like NSE, Safe Educate, ICICI Direct, HDFC, etc. to give students the opportunity for pursuing live projects and/or professional certifications like NCCMP, NCFM etc.The placements are exemplary. Im a pass-out myself and Im placed in a decent company, while some of my friends are placed abroad, too. Industrial exposure is offered through in-house training programs. The university organizes many external workshops for us. The package provided by on-campus jobs is also satisfactory. Universitys environment is pretty decent with high-tech security. They also organize regular interactive one-on-one sessions with experts where we can discuss our views and share our doubts and problems. A new program in tie-up with Talent Edge has been started.This program is having pre-placement offer at the time of Admission.

Hello! Every University has their strengths, but you need to make sure that university you are selecting, is marking up on your parameters. While comparing Amity and LPU, my first major point is fees at Amity is a major concern for students, where as scholarships at LPU are of great help in this case. I would simply say, Why pay more, if you can get the best in less amount. Look with the efforts the university is putting into for their students. I have done my MBA from LPU, I can say the efforts the LPU faculty members and staff put forward for their students is really appreciable. I would recommend you LPU for MBA. Mittal School of Business at LPU is increasing it's shine day by day. Faculty: Most of faculty members are from IIM or from elite B- Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty was really helping. Even they helped her after regular university hours for her projects. Standard of students: They did not compromise on the quality of the students. They have a rigorous admission process. Admission can be taken if you have good percentage and you have good percentile in entrance + marks in interview. Courses offered: They have ample of specializations in MBA and also provides dual specializations. Batch size: In every section they had 4060 Students. Placements: University provides with opportunities and it's up to the students to grab it. All I can say is LPU brings in lot more companies (apx. 450+) and the average package revolves around 5 to 6 Lacs per annum. It's up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd. LPU provide different classes for placements which helps in grooming.
