Which is tougher, the GATE or the ESE?

The ESE exam is a little more complex than the GATE exam. Exam pattern of the ESE exam: Exam Mode: Offline Selection Process 1- Prelims 2- Mains 3- Interview Number of Papers Prelims - 2 Mains - 2 Total Marks Prelims - 500 Marks Mains - 600 Marks Interview - 200 marks Opportunities after GATE Higher studies (M.Tech Ph.D. Research, work in PSUs, etc. Opportunities after ESE: 1- At the time of joining work as Assistant Executive Engineer or Assistant Director 2- After the experience of 3 to 4 years, work as an executive engineer, director, or work manager. 3- After the experience of 8 years, work as deputy general manager or joint director 4- After the experience of 13 years, work as joint general manager or chief engineer of level 2. 5- After the experience of 20 years, work as chief engineer or additional general manager. 6- After the experience of 30 years, you work as a senior general manager or engineer-in-chief. 7- After the experience of 34 years you become a chairman or managing director of a governmental organization. GATE Exam is an examination conducted for students seeking admission in postgraduate courses at centrally funded institutions in India. This is an online examination which tests the candidates understanding in undergraduate subjects of Engineering, Technology or Architecture, and postgraduate subjects of Science. Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is one of the most prestigious examinations conducted in India by UPSC. It gives an opportunity to engineers to work under the government of India and designated as Class 1 officer in public sectors such as Indian Railways, Power, Telecommunications, Central Water Engineering, Defense service of Engineers, Central Engineering Service, etc. But as I am computer Science Student, I Says that GATE is easier as compared to ESE. Because if you prepare for ESE you will cracl the GATE as well.
