A degree from Birla Institute of Technological Sciences (BITS) Pilani is any day better than that of Vellore Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Vellore Institute of Technology is only known for its placement record, which consists of IT companies, and one or two core companies, which offer you a salary of 2.5-4 lakhs per annum on an average.
