If you want placement and don't have a problem in giving up your passion for that, you can readily take up CSE as in the current scenario CSE has a reputation of having the most number of opportunities.
Considering the other case, where if you want to go for telecommunication it is a really diverse field and has almost equal number of opportunities as CSE has.

So, I am a student of BMS College of Engineering. I can give you a quick insight of CSE branch in our college. When it comes to placements, CSE is at top all the time. And in our college, we get a lot of exposure to improve our skills. There will be a lot of hackathons and codeathons that will be conducted.
