Hello Aashish,
It is tough to compare these two colleges as they are premier institutions for engineering.
The difference is that VIT University is a deemed university whereas SSN is affiliated to Anna University.
They both have great infrastructure and provide good quality education with experienced and well equipped faculty. They also have benchmark placements in the recent years where many tech giants visited and offered huge packages.
As per rankings, VIT University tops SSN. In terms of fee structure, SSN is better.
VIT vellore provides better exposure and many student friendly programs so as to improve their skills.

VIT is much better than SSN. VIT provide you the exposure and this is better than SSN in terms of infrastructure, placement, education, exposure. But, if it comes to fees SSN is better than VIT.

I would personally suggest VIT because its academic curriculum and pattern they follow are at international standards. Apart from that VIT has a strong base in connecting with various companies, institutes, and centers for letting it be placements or academics. VIT has a very good number of company sponsors.
