Which one is better CGC Landran or LPU for B.Tech in CSE?

As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. 1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. DURING PANDEMIC THE PLACEMENT 20202021 Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) DURING 20192020 CODE NATION = 31 LPA.

I will like to answer your questions with three specific points. Considering LPU for B.Tech CSE is:- 1. Assuring me JOB security from my 3rd year of engineering itself. As facts shows LPU has enjoyed a healthy track record of launching its students onto successful careers. Proving this is their alumni who are currently working in 300+ Global and Indian brands. Today, some of the top recruiting companies which have reached LPU campus for placements include Cognizant, Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Dell, Samsung, HCL Technologies, IBM, Tech Mahindra, and Dabur to name a few. Coming to the placements 100% placements for the students who so ever registered for the placements. 2. LPU gives the opportunity to opt for study abroad and avail the international exposure 3. LPU has tie ups with GOOGLE, VMWare, CISCO etc. That develops the understanding and polishes skills as per the industry needs. On top of that in LPU there is the benefit of earning valuable scholarships which makes the courses all the more affordable, along with multiple career centric opportunities like industrial exposure, live projects, floor job training and study abroad. All this as a package was a justified and genuine bid. In short LPU was a worthy investment experience. So hence I would rather say LPU is the best option.

CSE is one of the most sought after programme these days. India being global hub of software and back office industries, this field has immense job opportunities. Both CGC landran and LPU are doing a good job within their abilities. CGC landran, being a PTU affiliated college can deliver the curriculum as prescribed by university while LPU being a university itself, has a stellar track record in upgrading its curriculum almost every semester! You must know the parameters on which to compare. Some are mentioned as follows: Curricula : The course curricula of any tech degree must be very unique and dynamic. It must be developed with extensive consultations with industry. Tech trainings : The must students undergo many training like cutting edge technologies of SAP, Workday, waterfall other MOOCs, Advance Excel and many more. These skills come in handy for the students not only at the time of interviews and tests but also throughout their careers. Soft skills: There must be a dedicated effort by college/university in continuous improvement of personality, soft skills, professional ethics, interview skills, public speaking, presentation style development etc. In students. These are must for placements as well as performance in the jobs. Exposure : The students must be exposed to large number of guest lectures and talks by industry experts, large number of events in university to enhance their organizing and networking kills, large number of social work initiatives to develop the right orientation.
