Which one is better? Thapar or LPU? In placements.

As per the website of Thapar university, it has got 282 companies visiting the campus and with 994 offers. Compare it to LPU : it attracts more than 300 companies only for its CSE ! With 650 companies in total out of which more than 60 offer above 10LPA, 100 are from fortune 500 and more than 100 which come to LPU only other than IITs & Iims ! Moreover LPU places over 6 K students every year which in itself is a great FEAT. So LPU has a higher bandwidth with regards to placements than Thapar. DVD.

Dear Saezy, The placements are exemplary. Im a pass-out myself and Im placed in a decent company, while some of my friends are placed abroad, too. Industrial exposure is offered through in-house training programs. The university organizes many external workshops for us. The package provided by on-campus jobs is also satisfactory. Universitys environment is pretty decent with high-tech security. They also organize regular interactive one-on-one sessions with experts where we can discuss our views and share our doubts and problems. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. Being a alumni of LPU I would like share my experience in Lovely Professional university. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement.Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India program. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes from first year onward, it may be Soft-Skills, G.D, presentations, Extempores, Technical Interviews, Personal Interviews.to make the students to crack their dream companies Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs).Recently,Tania Arora, a BTech CSE student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) got selected as a software engineer in Microsoft with a huge salary of 42 LPA.

Well, that depends! Each University has its pros and cons but in this case, I would suggest you to, go for LPU Why? Because one thing we should keep in mind before taking admission for any course is that the University we are choosing must provide us deep and practical knowledge of core subjects, must adapt for new technologies faster and the curriculum should be revised regularly to meet the company standard, the University environment.
