Which one is better UPES or Shiv Nadar University?

Dear Mehul, As far as I know, both are private universities. I have completed my studies at Lovely Professional University so I would be sharing a few details of LPU instead of UPES and Shiv Nadar as I have no details of these two universities. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, zoology, etc. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. Ranking: 1. Ranked 1st for Focus on Affordable and clean energy in India 2. Ranked 2nd for Decent Work and Economic Growth in India 3. LPU has been ranked among the top institutions in India for many of its disciplines by NIRF ranking 2021. LPU is 12th in Architecture, 24th in Law and 23rd in Pharmacy, 37th in Business Management, 66th in Engineering, and 62nd in Universities across India. 4. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 5. As LPU alumni, I must say that Lovely Professional University has been known for its consistent growth in Academics for the last 20 years. LPU has the sate of art infrastructure Sprawling across in 600 acres land, which accommodates 25000+ students from across the world. Targeting to enriching the students experience throughout their stay at LPU, the university has embraced facilities such as dedicated research and development blocks, a university-mall, state of the art laboratories, and smart classrooms. LPU's infrastructure is unparalleled to any of the universities in the India. It is a mini township with fantastic academic facilities with numerous eateries including brands like Dominos and Cafe Coffee day, India's first IMAC lab, inside mall, university- hospital and various other facilities for students from different nation sand states. Though south students are away from their home, they can still enjoy their native cuisine as there are numerous south Indian food mess are available inside the campus.

Shiv Nadar is an emerging university founded by HCL Group. It would be among the top notch universities of country in the coming years. The university is too good to be left for any other university. The fee is nominal, placements are extremely good, no. Of students are less, 300 Acres campus in NCR region, no uniform, excellent college life, research oriented university. Shiv nadar is too good. ! UPES on the other hand was established in 2004. 30 Acres campus in a village 15km from Dehradun. Extremely high fees, no. Of students is too high (1000 in CS average placements ( 4.5 Lacs avg, 10 Lacs+ to approximately 3035 students among 1000). Comparison between the two aren't fair. As one is a traditional learning platform and the other is a modern private advancing platform.

Well, all the universities are doing good but if you are looking for best one, I would suggest you to Join Lovely Professional University. LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon. The center for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculty members. LPU provides various opportunities which range from one-day workshops to a semester-long academic course which improves the learning experiences of its students. Lpu has a world class infrastructure. It has 7 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel. 6 out of 7 have attached bathroom in boys hostel but all in girls hostel have attached bathrooms. There are much variety of rooms are available depends on your choices like 1 seater AC/non-AC, 2 seaters AC/non-AC, and many more. There are also many achievements of LPU which makes it different from any other university in entire India.
