I am not quite aware of the B.Com programme in National P. I am having my sister in Lovely Professional University, Punjab. She searched for the University on the basis of these parameters , Ranking, Exposure, Placements, Academics, and she seems to be satisfied while doing B.Com from LPU. University has been recognized by the UGC. Ranking is also good as it has been 11th best university in terms of placement. Students from all over the world have been studied over there and she is having a number of friends from out side India with whom she is planning to move outside India and start a new business venture. Few points told by my sister who did her studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: The program aims to build in students competent business acumen through advanced study of general subjects such as Organizational Behavior and Cost Accountancy, later allowing them to specialize in a chosen area. The curriculum involves intensive study, culminating with the completion of a research-based dissertation. The course may also include Practical/ workshops, technical and entrepreneurial projects as well as courses with exposure to cutting edge technologies. The program has been designed to offer to eligible candidates specialization in a wide range of managerial skills, while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business. One of the principle objectives of the course is to prepare students for successfully operating in and contributing to the modern world of business, as also for pursuing advanced research in the discipline. Hello friends, These two universities are of a different kind. If we talk about Lovely Professional University, it is a really big university with a huge campus and a lot of facilities. The overall personality development is good as you get to interact with people pursuing different courses having a completely different mindset. The placements for B.Com is not very good. The number of seats is 120. I would also say there is lack of practice and skill set development. The tuition fee is INR 2.55 lakh and separate hostel fees depending on the room you take. Now when we come to NPGC, for B.Com it has got the best placement records in Lucknow. The number of seats is 550. The companies where students got placed are Apex Auto, Convergys, Genpact, HCL, IGATE, South Indian Bank, TCS, and Wipro. But at the same time, the packages were not very high. The so-called infrastructure is not that amazing. It is just like a quality school with an AC, reading area, just one shop functioning as canteen and stationary both. Infrastructure-wise, it is also below average. Thanks.

There are many job options/ profiles available for you after completing a B.Com degree. Financial Risk Manager Business Analyst Digital Marketer Government Jobs - After completing B.Com one can apply for government jobs/ banking jobs by qualifying exams such as UPSC, IBPS, etc. B.Com is the good choice of subject if you are having strong control over subjects of commerce like Accounting, Banking And Financial Services, Economics, Finance, Financial Markets.
