Which one to prefer for B. Des among Lovely Professional University and Unitedworld Institute of Design and why?

Hello, Just about every sector needs people with art and design degrees for rewarding niche roles. People with art and design careers use their creative skills to communicate their client's message. The art and design sector can be quite competitive, with technical skills increasingly important for many art and design jobs. Freelance artists who sell their own artwork benefit from more artistic freedom, flexible scheduling and the ability to select their projects. They have to manage their finances, marketing and public relations. My brother has done B Design- Graphics from Lovely Professional University and based on his experience, I would say that yes, Lovely Professional University is good choice for design courses. I can not comment anything about UID. Following are the major specialisations offered at LPU in B. Design are : 1. Interior and Furniture 2. Multimedia and Animation 3. LPU provides ample of opportunities to all the students who are studying in different courses. LPU School of Design offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics, and colors. LPU has separate Division of Career Services fro better placement to the students. I feel you should give a careful thought before deciding and then decide upon this that which university you would join. My cousin sister is pursuing B. Design (Fashion) from LPU itself. She has discussed few points with me about her course:- She told me Study tours are an integral part of curriculum with visitation of architectural and prominent sites provides maximum exposure to learn technicalities of architecture. She said. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lectures from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the students creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colors. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. They are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. Also Students are exposed to fashion shows, craft fairs, industry internships and craft documentation. They get intensive exposure to practical work in Pattern making, Draping, Weaving, Printing, Dyeing, Garment Construction labs. Students are given various Live-projects during the course of the programme to create commercially viable designs. School of Design organized Face Painting and nail painting competition for students to showcase their creative talents. She has attended workshop on "Fashion styling" by Anuj Lalawani (Renowned Designer & Stylist) where students got training in different creative endeavors like body fit, make up, dressing and grooming. She went to educational tours to complement in-class learning. Students visit various monumental buildings and industries across India such as marble industries, tile industries, Thermax industry, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors etc. So, LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs.
